About the Owner
My name is Shellie Carriker. I am a mom of 1 human baby and 1 fur baby. Growing up I was always surrounded by animals. Many times we would have 3-4 cats and 2 dogs. Animals became my confidant and a comfort to me during my childhood. My neighbors, friends and family would ask me to help watch their fur babies when they were away. I have continued to help my friends and family with their fur babies through my adult years. I am very passionate about giving the best care to fur babies.
Bailey Bear (bay bay)
Bailey Bear's story is a special one. My son had been requesting a dog for years. We waited until he would be responsible and dependable before we committed to another animal. We adopted Bay Bay Oct 30, 2021. Dec 2, 2021 my husband and son were in a terrible accident. My son walked away physically okay. My husband encountered serious injuries that we continue to recover from. Bailey quickly became our emotional support animal. She has a way with each of us that is unique to what we experienced as a family for over 18 months. We can not imagine a day without her! She saved us! She is still saving us.
